PHILADELPHIA, Pa., May 27, 2026 — Horn Williamson & Collins announced Janesa Urbano has joined the firm as a partner, further expanding the firm’s construction and litigation capabilities and supporting its continued strategic growth by increasing its advisory and transactional bandwidth. Urbano brings more than 20 years of experience representing clients in complex disputes, transactions and construction-related matters.
Her addition strengthens the firm’s ability to serve clients across not only the construction industry but the broader business community, including parties involved in complex construction projects, high-stakes litigation, contract negotiation, risk management and business disputes. Urbano’s arrival also expands the firm’s capabilities in commercial real estate and transactional matters, including development-related agreements and business counseling.
“We are incredibly fortunate to welcome Janesa to Horn Williamson & Collins,” said Jennifer Horn, the firm’s founding partner. “She brings substantial experience handling complex commercial and construction matters, along with the practical judgment and industry perspective our clients value. Janesa will further strengthen the service and strategic counsel we provide across our commercial and construction litigation practice.”
Throughout her career, Urbano has represented business clients in high-stakes disputes and transactional matters. She has extensive experience advising clients on contract drafting and negotiation, business counseling, complex commercial agreements, construction contracts, risk management strategies and litigation management. She has also tried cases in federal and state courts and handled hundreds of arbitrations and mediations.
“Horn Williamson & Collins has built a strong reputation for practical, client-focused representation in construction and commercial disputes,” Urbano said. “I’m excited to join a team that understands the industry and is committed to helping clients solve complex legal and business challenges efficiently and effectively.”
Urbano also serves as an adjunct professor at Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she teaches trial advocacy, and as a visiting professor with Emory University School of Law’s Kessler-Eidson Program for Trial Techniques.
