Megan Shannon is a litigator with diverse experience in public records litigation, insurance coverage, and commercial litigation.

In her public records practice, Megan represents businesses and individuals seeking information from government agencies. She advises a range of clients, including contractors looking for insight into the government bidding process. Megan has helped clients navigate state public records laws as well as the Federal Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). She has represented clients at every stage under Pennsylvania’s Right-to-Know Law, from administrative appeals before the Office of Open Records through arguing before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Megan also has extensive experience in both insurance coverage and general commercial litigation. She has represented policyholders in disputes with their insurers in the context of the duty to defend, business interruption coverage, D&O, E&O, EPLI, and bad faith claims. She has assisted large companies with internal investigations and defended municipalities against multimillion-dollar lawsuits stemming from personal injuries.
