Alex is an associate in firm’s Residential Construction Defect Group, where he represents homeowners and community associations in disputes involving defective construction, water intrusion, building envelope failures, improper installations, structural defects and other issues arising from new home construction, condominium development and residential renovations. He works with clients navigating construction-related disputes involving contractors, developers, subcontractors and design professionals, helping them pursue practical solutions to complex construction problems.
Alex’s practice is informed by a strong litigation background handling matters through all stages of litigation, from initial case evaluation through resolution. Before joining the firm, he represented clients in personal injury, employment, products liability and insurance-related matters, where he managed active litigation dockets, prepared and argued motions, handled written discovery, took and defended depositions and advised clients on litigation strategy. Alex also drafted insurance coverage opinions analyzing commercial general liability, experience that provides valuable insight into the insurance and coverage issues that often arise in residential construction defect and community association claims.
During law school, Alex served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Megan McCarthy King of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, where he assisted with legal research and drafting involving civil and criminal law matters. He also served as Vice President of the International Law Society and worked as a legal intern with the Farmworkers Legal Aid Clinic.
